Soft seal refers to that one side of the sealing pair is metal data and the other side is elastic non-metal data, which is called "soft seal". Silica gel products are processed works with silica gel as the main raw material, which are called silica gel products. Silica gel is a porous material with different particle sizes, which is dehydrated by silica gel. It has an open porous structure and can adsorb many substances. It is a good desiccant, adsorbent and catalyst carrier. The O-ring with large cross section shall be selected as far as possible With the same clearance The volume of O-ring squeezed into the gap shall be less than the maximum allowable value. This kind of seal has good sealing function, but it is not resistant to high temperature, easy to wear and poor mechanical property. Such as: steel plus rubber; Steel plus tetrafluoropolyethylene, etc. The soft seal seat is made of non-metallic materials with certain strength, hardness and temperature resistance. It has good sealing function and may achieve zero leakage, but its service life and adaptability to temperature are relatively poor. The hard seal is made of metal, and the sealing function is absolutely poor, although some manufacturers claim that it may achieve zero leakage. The soft seal cannot satisfy the process requirements for a part of corrosive materials, and the hard seal may be solved! These two seals may make up for each other. In terms of sealing performance, the soft seal is absolutely good. However, the sealing performance of the hard seal may also be satisfied with the corresponding requirements! The advantage of soft seal is good sealing function, while the disadvantage is easy aging, wear and tear and short service life. The service life of hard seal is long, but the sealing performance is definitely worse than that of soft seal.
Hard seal refers to that both sides of the sealing pair are metal data or other hard data, which is called "hard seal". The sealing function of this seal is poor, but it has high temperature resistance, wear resistance and good mechanical function. Such as: steel plus steel; Steel plus copper; Steel plus graphite; Steel plus alloy steel (the steel here may also be cast iron, cast steel, alloy steel, or surfacing and spraying alloy).
Rozdiel medzi mäkkým tesnením a tvrdým tesnením:
1. Teplotná odolnosť: mäkké tesnenie sa používa v prostredí s normálnou teplotou. O-krúžok s veľkým prierezom sa vyberie pokiaľ možno s rovnakou vôľou. Objem O-krúžku vtlačeného do medzery musí byť menší ako maximálna povolená hodnota. Tvrdé tesnenie je možné použiť pri nízkej teplote, normálnej teplote, vysokej teplote a iných prostrediach
2. Tlak: mäkké tesnenie nízky tlak - normálny tlak, tvrdé tesnenie sa môže použiť aj pri strednom a vysokom tlaku a iných pracovných podmienkach.
